Veuve Fourny & Fils Champagne Brut Grande Reserve 750 ML

Vinous 91 points - The NV Brut Grande Reserve 1er Cru is bright and energetic, but also a touch ethereal in feel, especially on the mid-palate. Almond, chamomile, dried flowers and lemon are all nicely delineated in the glass. The presence of Pinot is felt in the wine’s fruit profile and overall feel. Hints of smoke, licorice, dried flowers and mint add intrigue throughout. Disgorged: February 2017. Dosage is 6 grams per liter..December/2017 Veuve Fourny is one of my favorite under the radar producers in Champagne. The wines are bold and deeply layered, yet also retain considerable freshness.
