Punto Final, meaning “final period” or “full stop,” symbolizes the point at which the Bodega Renacer winemaking team has accomplished their common goal: a truly outstanding wine. The grapes for the Punto Final Reserva Malbec are sourced primarily from the Los Patos Vineyard in Perdriel, where the average age of the vines is 80 years. Following fermentation in stainless steel tanks, the wine is aged for one year in French oak barrels and then six months in bottle before release. Tasting Notes Punto Final Malbec Reserve 2017 has a deep bright red color. Aromas of wild berries such as raspberry, strawberry and blueberry mingle with earthy and spicy notes. In the mounth, the wine is juicy and fruity, with round tannins, balanced acidity and a long finish. Food Pairing This is full-bodied Malbec that pairs best with boldly flavorful meat dishes such as a rib-eye steak with chimichurri, beef, pork, BBQ fish and pastas.
