Description
This wine retains the enticing aromatics of the varietal while offering a light, crisp and refreshing body. More dry than sweet, it combines peaches, melon, pineapple and cantaloupe with some nice tanginess on the finish.
Pie de Palo Viognier shows a yellow color with green hues. The aromas show fresh apricots, peaches and pineapple. On the palate, the wine is fresh and bright with balanced acidity. Pair with salads, fresh fruit, or light seafood, especially sushi.
Owned and operated by Eduardo Lapania, who works with winemaker Diego Medina, Punta Pays hand-harvests its grapes in baskets of 15 kg (33 lb), which are later carefully transported to the winery. Once in the winery, they carry out a strict selection of the best grapes.
