Maison de Montille Rully 750 ML

VARIETALS - Chardonnay VINEYARD - From the lieu-dit of "Les Chaponnieres du Dessus" located north of Rully near the village of Chagny. 50-year-old vines planted at the base of the slope. Purchased from Domaine de Belleville. SOIL - Deep clay, very few stones VITICULTURE - Practicing organic VINIFICATION - Long, slow press. Fermented in neutral barrels (10% new). Regarding sulfur, whites have the following: 75-100 mg/l total SO2, 30-35 mg/l free SO2. AGING - Aged 14-15 months in barriques (mostly Allier, 10% new). Wine then spends 4-6 months in inox tank to harmonize. NOTES - A charming and aromatically pure Rully with lovely balance and freshness.
