Cascina La Doria is located in the San Cristoforo municipality, two miles west of Gavi. Owned by the Martini family, Cascina La Doria is comprised of 25 estate owned hectares: 21 hectares of Cortese, 3 hectares of Merlot, and 1 hectare of Pinot Noir. About the Vineyard - La Doria Gavi is harvested from 100% estate owned vineyards that are located on the left bank of the Lemme river, a viticultural ecosystem with alluvial soils and a favorable microclimate. The unique location allows for the prooduction of a Gavi DOCG of constant quality and intense aromas. Tasting Notes - Bright straw yellow in color. Aromas of white flowers, apples and citrus fruits. Its taste is fresh and dry, but soft, with good persistence. Food Pairing - La Doria Gavi can be served as an aperitif, but it also pairs well with fish dishes, soups, risottos, raw meats, and salads.
