Buy this wine because this wine has a charming story: After attending a tasting held by Serge Hochar of Chateau Musar in 2014, winemaker Jocelyn Hogan Wilson was mesmerised by the elegance and power of his wines. Jocelyn was so moved, she diverged(hence the name) from her original plan and decided to create this unusual blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cinsault and Carignan that Serge Hochar had been creating for a lifetime. Tragically Serge passed away at the end of 2014 and Jocelyn has carried on a bit of his legacy in this bottle ever since. The result is a very expressive red cherries, plums, sweet blackcurrant, star anise and forest floor. A wine of lightness and elegance but also of substance.
It pairs great with lamb shawarma, rib eye steak, beef bourguignon, Asian dishes
