Field & Sound Whiskey Bottled In Bond Small Batch Straight Wheated Bourbon Whiskey 750 ML

Each batch is distilled 2 times over through the twin 650-liter custom-made copper pot stills. We take pride in the deep cuts we make preserving the sweetest part of the distillation, which is the hearts. Over 40% of the distillate which makes up the heads and tails never make it into the barrel. The East End of Long Island is a hotbed of agricultural activity, the home of over 70 wineries, and over 10,000 acres of potatoes, rye, corn, wheat, and malted barley farms. Prior to WWII, Long Island had over 200,000 acres of farms to help feed NYC. This is due to the loamy soils and unique climate, adding 15-20 extra days to the growing season.
