Soft, fruity, balanced with sweet American oak notes. PALATE - Smooth, creamy sweetness with malty honeyed spice and vanilla. FINISH - Incredibly crisp with long lasting oaky sweetness. Made by people, not computers, this is the heart of the Deanston. Our whisky spends its entire life in our vaulted warehouses on the banks of the river Teith at our distillery. We use ex bourbon casks to mature, which give our signature whisky its delicious honey sweet flavors. The tall stills and locally grown Scottish barley provide for a wonderful cereal background to this superb single malt. Certified Organic from start to finish, by the Organic Food Federation, we only use organic barley with no pesticides or fertilizers, malted organically and batch production to ensure no carryover.
